There are 3 types of references in APA style.

Books

Author surname, Initials. (Date of publication).Book tittle. Place of publication:Publisher

For example:

Wookey,C.K(2003). Modern Buildings. New York:Harper.

Journal Articles:

Author surname, Initials. (Date of publication).Article title. Journal tittle, Volume number, page numbers.

For example:

Carter,K.A.(1999).Developing technology in developing countries.Journal of International Sport,6,132-143.

Websites

Author, if available.Web page title.(Date of publication, if available).Date of retrieval, web address

For Example:

The wonder club.Retrieved March 15,2006, from http://wonderclub.com/WorldWonders/ModernsWonders.html.
